On the startup screen, the little squares on the bottom left are supposed to indicate unlocked gallery stuff. They light up when they're unlocked. None of mine are lit up.

Could you share a screenshot of what the dev said?
Cuz if it existed I'm sure someone on this thread would have found out, either by randomly playing or digging in game files.

It has the kissing scene in the first possession and the puppetiering scene where she licks vivi and glace and the mime forces her to do something, I think do this count?

My guess is that the Celestian form could possibly only be upgraded by either.....
#1:- Preforming some kind of sacred Celstian ritual.
#2:- Finding some kind of sacred Celestian artefact.
#3:- Or somehow meeting a type of pureblooded High Celestian and being bestowed with new power for the transformation.

That's because I was guessing, if any of that is to be added, it'll be in a later update.
To unlock the Celestian form, KEEP meditating, eventually Nel will get bored and start playing with Celica..... Let her. And after a couple more meditations while letting Nel have her fun, the Celestian form will be released.
To recharge the energy for the transformation, either go to the hot springs to meditate, or fight enemies normally, I don't know if it recharges naturally by time going by or sleeping.
Aha got it, I am at level 1 btw and was trying to go for level 2 but in any case thnx.
Is there a way to get the save files of older versions to work on newer versions? I get errors when trying to load old save files and I don't want a totally completed save because tbh the context and story is kinda nice.

The higher the difference between versions is the higher are the chances of something not working since the dev keeps changing code, updating the engine, tweaking stuff, etc so it makes sense. What you can do is to save when Celica just woke up in the older version then try to load that save in the new version, it's one of the things that has less chance of failing. Or just start from 0 and avoid skipping too many versions again, which is quite hard tbh with how long each update takes to be released.
