David Garcia, better known by his stage name Cookin' Soul, was born in 1985 in [[Madrid]], [[Spain]] into an [[Armenians|Armenian]]-[[Catalans|Catalan]] family. His musical journey began early, inspired by his mother's weekend sessions of [[James Brown]] and other classic tunes played on cassette tapes.
