For those curious about my little rescue that I have had for nearly a year now. Kye is doing great. He has gotten alot stronger, and has settled in quite well. His hind legs have gotten strong enough now that he is able to even jump up on the couch with no issue. The issues with his back have become mild, and rarely bother him now.. He does have his down days though where he does crash and his issues bother him, but those are alot more few. I see barely any sign of the neurological damage, and he is just a smart little dog that catches on pretty quickly to things.

For those who do not know Kye, he is a chihuahua rat terrior dachshund mix that I rescued last year from the local shelter. He was diagnosed with brain damage, ataxia in his back legs, and spinal nerve damage. The cause of his issues are unknown, but I assume he was either hit by a car, and lived, or lived through distemper. All of which doesnt matter to me, he is a bright healthy and happy little dog and is doing just fine.
